Twice a year, the fashion crowd of editors, buyers, publicists, celebrities and influencers, just to name a few, descend on Florence, Italy for Pitti Uomo. It is arguably the most important event for menswear designers and brands to showcase their latest clothing and accessory collections.
Since September 1972, Pitti Uomo, held at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence, has served as a platform to raise the profile of Italian designers. In the forty eight years since its launch, with now ninety seven of the bi-annual events hosted, the exhibition has become an international celebration of menswear fashion and design talent.
While brands present the latest designs that fashion followers can look forward to buying and wearing in the coming months, out in the streets, the event has been described as the Olympics of street style. Fashionable men (and women too!) from all over the world, showcase their own personal style. Whether wearing sharply tailored suits, avant-garde outfits, trendy men's leather dress shoes, or statement accessories, the men of Pitti Uomo prove that menswear fashion can be just as creative, stylish and exciting as womenswear. Although there are countless sartorial men stepping out in style, we’re sharing our picks for the best dressed gentlemen in town, in no particular order. Take a look at the best pitti uomo suits.

The Gentlemen Marco Mander at Pitti Uomo
Argentinian Marco Mander aka @the_wise_young_gentleman looks exactly like one – a gentleman that is. The menswear enthusiast attended Pitti Uomo in sharply tailored three piece suits and chic coats. One of our favorite looks has got to be his self-described Milanese business meets preppy American outfit. Marco wore a blue suit over a white dress shirt with a black striped necktie. He completed the stylish ensemble with black leather shoes, a white coat, brown framed sunglasses and a pop of color with an orange scarf.

Next among our best dressed gentlemen is Romain Clamaron (@romain_clamaron), who brought Peaky Blinders to day one of Pitti Uomo with his sense of style. Our favorite among this Pitti Uomo looks was the dark grey three piece suit that he donned as he walked the streets of Florence. He complimented the classic tailored suit with a white dress shirt, slim red necktie, beige trench coat and golden and black sunglasses.

Prince of Wales Look by Choaro Motshoeneng
Choaro Motshoeneng (@the_bespoken) was another of the best dressed gentleman of Pitti Uomo. The blogger has a penchant for patterned suits and dark, earthy colors. While he had many noteworthy ensembles, of course, it was his dark brown Prince of Wales patterned three piece suit that toped our list, especially with its contrasting printed lining that Choaro subtly showed off. He complimented the classic suit with a light colored dress shirt and a navy patterned necktie. Choaro chose the perfect accessories with a contrasting brown tweed flat cap and round sunglasses. To complete his outfit, he added the national flag of his home country, South Africa, as a lapel pin and an ode to the Pitti Uomo 97 theme of pride.

Modern styled Gianluca Ala
Gianluca Ala’s (@gianluca_ala) modern style was among those that stood out in Pitti Uomo. The fashion forward gentleman opted to wear turtleneck pullovers instead of dress shirts with his suits. For day three of Pitti Uomo, he stepped out in a grey colored turtleneck underneath a navy pinstripe suit. It was the subtle details that made all the difference to his outfit with cropped trousers, navy dress socks and dark grey smoking slippers instead of the standard leather shoes. His light grey classic coat added an extra dose of style.
The Peaky Blinders Style worn by Daniel Horvath
Rounding off our list of best dressed men in Pitti Uomo is Daniel Horvath (@danielhorvathofficial). The photographer and fashion influencer has a more laidback yet still striking sense of style. The ethical brand ambassador channeled Birmingham’s well known gangster, Thomas Shelby, with a grey three piece suit, a white dress shirt with rounded collar. Of course, you can’t go Peaky Blinders without the pre-requisite flat cap or newsboy hat. Daniel donned a dark grey flat cap.
